Terry Geddes Terry is the designer &
manufacturer at Australian Underwater Video Housings. It was from his initial love for diving and filming that led him to build his small business. Based in Trinity Beach, Queensland, Australia, Terry has had The Great Barrier Reef
as his experimental playground. Terry has worked as an underwater videogragher for eleven years to 2002, on board award winning outer reef cruise operator "Quicksilver Connections". Terry's father and brother have also worked closely in the diving / videoing industry along the coast of Queensland. Five years ago his increasing desire to get better & better footage, set him on a path of experimentation. Terry spent many hundreds of hours designing housings to work for him to get the best results. He experimented with different cameras, buying new models when he could afford them, adding accessories to enhance his underwater work. Friends then started to buy Terry's housings for their own video cameras, setting him on his way. He soon realized there was a market for those discerning videographers who want not just a case to put their camera in, but a housing which allowed great flexibility in it's use. Terry still works from our workshop at home that is ever increasing in size.
Terry's vision is to provide housings, lighting, vision, sound, you name it, at a reasonable price. His goal is to have equipment for you that is reliable 100% of the time and that can take footage better than
any other housing. His reputation as someone who is uniquely friendly and a good person to have around has opened doors for him. We hope his hands-on approach appeals to you also and that one day you
might have one of his housings to take underwater with you.
