How soon can I have my housing?

For all models, construction will proceed subsequent to a deposit of 10%.  This is pending current works.

    Enthusiast models such as
    Sony PC1, PC3, PC5, Canon MV20i, MV30i
    Sony TRV6 etc

3 weeks plus freight time

    Semi-Professional models such as
    Canon XL1, XM1, Sony VX2000/PD150 etc

6 weeks plus freight time

    Professional models such as
    Beta cams

8 weeks plus freight time

What about freight?

Freight is an additional cost to you the purchaser.   All completed housings and camera gear you have forwarded to us are sent or returned to you registered mail. Specific prices are available on request.  Clients may choose to investigate freight prices themselves if they wish.

International freight:

We send international goods through a company called DHL.

For your interest we have prepared a rough guide.  Prices are subject to variations periodically and are beyond our control.  All prices are in Australian Dollars. 

To USA for 10 kg  (22 lbs) will cost about $200.00, taking 3-4 days
To USA for 20 kg (44 lbs) will cost about $250.00, taking 3-4 days

This includes door-to-door delivery, customs clearance & 24 hr tracking.  Insurance is 2% of the replacement value.  Insurance is optional.

To NEW ZEALAND for 10 kg will cost about $110.00, taking 3-4 days
To NEW ZEALAND for 20 kg will cost about $150.00, taking 3-4 days

Domestic freight:

For your interest we have prepared a rough guide.  Prices are subject to variations periodically and are beyond our control.

We use Australia Post or Australian Air Express to send domestically.  Insurance is optional.

Australia Post:
To Perth for 10 kg will cost about $35.00 + registration + insurance, taking about 3 days
To Melbourne for 10 kg, will cost about $30.00 + registration + insurance, taking 2 – 3 days

Australian Air Express:

To Melbourne for 10 kg will cost about $60.00 off peak 3 days + insurance.  Delivery is to your door and they can track your parcels.
To Perth for 10 kg will cost about $85.00.  This service is for 2-day delivery.  Overnight is available, though considerably more expensive.
